Sagada Rice TerracesPosted by Ken (Cebu City, Philippines) on 21 March 2008 in Landscape & Rural. The only difference between the rice terraces in Banaue and in Sagada (both found in Mt. Province, Philippines and only 4 hours apart) is the materials used to create the terrace walls. In Banaue, the natives use hardened soil to create their terraces. In Sagada however, they use stone and cement which make their terraces durable and immune to erosion. Tomorrow, let's zoom in and see the Sagada terrace walls.
